Nicole & Shaun’s Wedding – St Andrews Church Ashingdon, Essex & Afternoon Tea

On the 25th June I was lucky enough to capture Nicole & Shaun’s wedding day.

I arrived to start the bridal preparations at the location for the afternoon tea and I was genuinely taken back by how much effort had gone into turning the garden into a wedding reception. Every little detail had been covered. You could see how much love, care and time had been given to make it perfect and the hardwork had certainly paid off.

Nicole was very calm and relaxed when I arrived and remained so through out the preparation. The makeup artist and hairstylist did a fantastic job, Nicole looked stunning.

The ceremony was beautiful, I loved how it was made so personal you could see that the couple meant a lot to the church.

We managed to get lots of formal family shots done before the rain came down too heavy. Nicole and Shaun really embraced the weather and we created some beautiful images.

Back to the reception for afternoon tea the sun cleared up and we managed to grab some more couple shots celebrating the lovely news that the new couple were expecting a baby. I love that we got to incorporate the scan photo.

It was an absolute pleasure to capture your wedding day and I hope you can treasure these images for a lifetime.

Just quickly before I show you a selection of the images from the day I have to mention the beautiful cake. It was absolutely stunning, I genuinely could have photographed it for hours.

Enjoy
