There’s something exciting about a winter wedding for me. The light is different, you’re potentially battling with the elements, but all in all it’s about getting those all important beautiful shots of the bride and groom, whatever the weather! Luckily the weather wasn’t a problem at the beautiful wedding of Niomi and Anthony! They were married at the stunning Orangery in Kent.
I started my day with Niomi and her bridal party and caught some of the preparations and finishing touches. The bridesmaids wore a beautiful shade of grey, and they had the freedom to change the style of their dresses, with the little ones in a gentle champagne. Their bouquets were gypsophila, tied with a champagne ribbon, and the bride had some gentle touches of lilac.
The bride looked beautiful in a sweet heart neckline gown, and the groom and ushers in a royal blue suit, looking very dapper, I must say! The ceremony was beautiful, and the venue was spectacular. The fine details the bride and groom picked for the room were lovely, I particularly liked the gypsopila that lined the aisle of the Maidstone venue.
The venue had the most spectacular grounds. I was able to walk with the newly weds, and get some shots of them around the lake, which offered a gorgeous skyline (not too dissimilar to that of Central Park, New York!) and incredible greenery. The orangery is a perfect Kent Wedding venue.
We went back to the venue, and it was time for the speeches. There were some lovely moments through out, lots of laughter and fun gifts exchanged at the top table! The guests were great, and the kids weren’t afraid to get the party started on the dance floor! After the couples beautiful first dance, the evening was in full swing, and they had a great night.
Thank you Niomi and Anthony for inviting me to be part of your special day. I wish you a wonderful life together.
