Laura & James’ Wedding – The Reid Rooms, Chelmsford – Jen Jb Photography

I recently had the pleasure of photographing the lovely Laura and James on their big day at The Reid Rooms, near Chelmsford.

I arrived at the venue to meet the bridal party and capture all the morning preparations. There was an air of nervous excitement but everyone soon relaxed.

The venue is just stunning. Laura and James chose an outdoor wedding which meant plenty of beautiful scenery to get some great shots!

Before the ceremony, I went over to capture some images of the groomsmen. They were great fun and willing to try some more relaxed and less formal shots, which they seemed to enjoy.

The ceremony itself was beautiful. An intimate affair with just a handful of guests. Afterwards all guests moved to the venue by tractor for drinks and food, but not before the speeches. James gave an emotional speech bringing a tear to his wife’s eye. This was followed by both the best men who also had everyone crying at their speech… This time with laughter!

One of the highlights of the day had to be Laura and James’ adorable little boy. Family is such an important part of weddings and it was an absolute pleasure to capture some beautiful shots of the couple with their son. I often work with children which I absolutely adore. I love to be able to capture family photos, not just at weddings, but for all occasions, in the studio or on location.

I have included just a few of my favourite images from the day. A big thank you to Laura and James for allowing me to share in your special day and capture all the wonderful memories. I wish you all the happiness in the world.
